Dedicated volunteers help bluebirds

     When the North American Bluebird Society met recently in Newport Beach, their biggest concern was the preservation of habitat for cavity nesting birds. 
     Cindy McNatt wrote a great story for Saturday's Orange County Register about the army of volunteers across the country who hang nest boxes.  The local chapter meets monthly on the first Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Irvine Water District.  For more information, log on to Southern California Bluebird Club.
