Lake Forest posts goose crossing signs

The Lake Forest city council should be commended for approving caution signs along streets near waterways where several species of ducks and geese nest.  Apparently many birds have been hit by cars because motorists didn't realize the young birds couldn't fly.

Young birds, even though they may be feathered enough to look like adults may still be unable to fly. Please give birds a brake!
