Simple birdbath fits any garden

Help our feathered friends beat the heat with this easy-to-make birdbath.

My favorite garden blogger, Cindy McNatt at dirtdujour.com sent me this super simple birdbath design from Better Homes and Gardens.  (Cindy scours the Web for clever ideas.)  This simple design requires nothing more than a terracotta saucer and a wire tomato cage, which does double-duty as a trellis for climbing vines.  Why didn't I think of that?
