Nesting eagles on Catalina Island

We stopped at the Nature Center at Avalon Canyon on our recent trip to Catalina Island.  I was hoping to learn more about the bald eagles that nest there.  This video, which plays at the center, explains the recovery efforts of the Institute for Wildlife Studies and the Catalina Island Conservancy.  There are currently two dozen bald eagles, including five nesting pairs on the island.
