Marjorie's Garden Shop, an online company in Orange County, offers two new hummingbird feeders nice enough to be given as gifts this holiday season. They're designed by Rich Mahon of Aliso Viejo, who has created products for companies such as Disney, Waverly and Laura Ashley. The Cape Honeysuckle hummingbird feeder, shown, is named for the favorite hummingbird perennial. It features a ceramic green crackle base and a ribbed glass vessel with an iridescent pearl finish inspired by the hummingbird's jewel-like feathers. It's topped off with an antique brass finish hanger. Very nice. A second style, called the La Pina Caribena, is made of faceted glass in the shape of a pineapple, which is the symbol of hospitality and welcome for centuries.
