Fall fuel: serve high-fat, high-energy suet

Oh, the weather outside is frightful. But the fire is so delightful. And since we've no place to go...

Well, you probably know the rest of the song.  Anyway, I can't help but think of my fine feathered friends when the temperature drops.  Birds can use a little help during the cold fall and winter months.  High-calorie foods can help them survive.  Consider offering high-fat, high-energy foods such as suet, peanuts and sunflower seeds.

Happy birding!
